Learning Disorders

The inability to properly process information which can make it difficult for an individual to learn and utilize new skills. Learning disorders are not directly related to an individual’s level of intelligence and can affect those with average or above-average levels of intelligence. Common types of learning disorders are Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dysgraphia. Common causes of learning disorders include genetics, prenatal risks, psychological or physical trauma, and environmental exposure.
